The Department of Architecture offers several degrees that all follow the department's mission to advance architecture through responsible practice, the development of architectural knowledge, and service to local and global communities.
The undergraduate degree is a four-year BA in Architectural Design. The accredited M Arch comprises two streams: candidates with a BA or BS in architecture join the two-year program; those with degrees in other fields join the three-year program. Also available is a M Arch - MLA concurrent degree.
In addition, the department offers three advanced specialized degrees. The MS in Architecture includes concentrations in Design Computing and Architectural History/Theory. Also available is the M Arch in High Performance Building, a post professional degree. Finally, the College of Built Environments offers a PhD in the Built Environment.
