Course Description

A group of artisans wants to establish a cooperative paper mill and workshop in the North Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. Their primary focus is handmade paper but they produce paper-related work as well. The size of the cooperative is limited to the number of people that can sit around a large table for group meetings as well as for lunch. The cooperative supports itself by selling paper and other projects based on paper that are made on site, and by renting studio space to visiting artists.
