Course Description

This conceptual studio is specifically designed as a final studio for 4th year undergraduate students to provide the opportunity for them to further develop a personal design process, and to explore representation methods to complement their portfolios. Similar to an advanced graduate level studio, working with the instructor, students will articulate the specific topics and methods that they wish to focus on. Focus will be placed upon the creation of architectural narratives through words, images, drawing and models. Short stories written by the American writer Raymond Carver will serve as the common framework for the studio and studio projects.
